When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, I expected stunning reefs. And I found them. But I discovered something on the Amadive itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My heart leaped. This was more than a typical reef dive; this was an exploration into history.

I'll admit, I felt a little apprehensive. Wreck diving is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were fantastic. Their PADI instructors provided a very thorough briefing. We covered safety protocols, the history of the sunken ship, and what to expect below. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel comfortable.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it appeared. It was enormous. It's now a thriving artificial reef, draped in corals and teeming with fish. We saw big groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the cracks. The feeling website of gliding alongside this silent, ghostly vessel is hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It truly is a time capsule under the water.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking something more the usual reef dive, I cannot urge you this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my Vietnam trip. A massive shout-out to the **Amadive** team for their professionalism and for making this incredible experience so safe.
